According to ONS statistics, London’s population is projected to grow by 13% over the next 10 years, outstripping the 7% projection for all-England. The centre for Economic & Business Research forecasts that London will account for almost a third of all UK growth in the period to 2019.

Despite a drop in the global housing market and indeed in the UK’s housing market during the downturn, London’s high-end market has been relatively unscathed; as evidenced by the Land Registry House Price Index below, London has also significantly out-performed UK residential prices over the last 10 years.
